Outlining Demo - To run the demo version of this New Outlining program,
login as the user planning instead of target. Run TPS (yes/no) [y]? yes Once the system has entered the windows environment and the application windows have appeared, exit the main application menu by typing 0 as normal. When the application windows have closed, select from the workspace pop up menu :- TPS > Demos > New Patient Outlining > Run Demo Version or TPS > Demos > New Patient Outlining > View User Manual. This will now enter the New Outlining program which is the full working version with the saving of outline sets disabled. To evaluate this program further and compare results with the current outlining program, contact us at Prism for a temporary license and instructions for this feature. Note: When you use the pop up menu as the user planning all the normal features are there but are not in the same menu position. top Clearing the printer queue - Some times the UNIX printer queue may lock up and no printing occurs. Removing the active print job may not clear the problem. A more complete method is to clear the queue and stop and restart the printer daemon to all the printers as follows (type only the bold text). Login as root (superuser). hostname# lpc lpc> down all lpc> clean all lpc> up all lpc> quit hostname# logout Now the printer queues should be clean and the printer daemon started. The system should be ready to print. top Unable to access the Annex - Occasionally communication between the computer and the Annex terminal server, may be broken and when you try to do a print job you may see in the command console an error message about the annex or aprint. This problem can normally be cleared by rebooting the computer and the Annex terminal server at the same time. top Running out of disk space for patient data - Patient data is stored in the home partition, the largest disk partition, however patients with a lot of CT images, can fill this partition quite quickly, especially if archive is not run on a regular basis. Archive is the only method of backing up patient data to a tape that then removes that data from the hard disk. The patient data backup that is done when you exit the application software does a backup copy of the data but does not remove this data from the hard disk. Either archive on a more regular basis, or install an expansion disk. Contact Prism about available expansion disk options. top |
